At Kshetry we impart technical knowledge,skill development and training programmes to these prisoners for making various kind of attractive for making Embroidery ,Weaving and Handicraft items,such as Baskets,Doormats,Bamboo craft products etc. within their jail premises, so that they can secure future employment in due course of time. These Handmade goods are then sold in the open market from where they are able to earn a respectable means of livelihood.
We help develop appropriate models to enhance, support and coordinate such initiatives.
Our mandate is also to enable a support system for these prisoners. Which focuses on their long term sustainability.
