1st August, 2021

01.08.2021 i.e. on the Ist day of August, 2021, we took the initiative to provide food and necessary medicine to the stray animals in Baranagar area. We started arranging necessary medicines that could be administered to the mute and helpless animals. Accordingly today morning, rice along with steaming chicken which is beneficial according to animals diet chart was prepared for them i.e. without spices and salt. We managed to add the medicines into the food so that it could be consumed easily. We could manage to feed approximately 40 strays today. This small, pure and selfless charitable service made us experience the sense of satisfaction, which is beyond definition. We could sense their look full of gratitude on getting a square meal for atleast one day. This event was taken care by Rajarshi Roy Choudhury on behalf of Kshetry Foundation.

19th June, 2021

It has been raining incessantly for the last couple of days adding to the misery. As it is because of the lockdown, lives of the under privileged is in trouble with no proper means of food. Rains have added fuel with rainwater entering into their make shift tents thus restricting them from cooking any food.
Today i.e. on 19th June, 2021, Kshetry Foundation took the initiative of providing lunch to the poor. We zeroed in on Dum Dum area this time and arranged food packets etc. for about 200 people residing in Dum Dum slums/footpaths.
We reached the designated area at about 1.00 pm with food parcels, masks, sanitizers etc. and found people waiting for us eagerly. Our volunteers were present to organise the queue to facilitate distribution of food packets etc.
We distributed lunch parcels, masks and sanitizers to all of them. Spent some time with the children who were overjoyed to get food packets. We felt satisfied at heart that we could fill their hungry stomachs atleast for one day.
A very small initiative to extend our arms to the needy.
